MONTHLY Fees & Costs

1. Monthly dues are calculated by taking the annual cost of each group and dividing the payments into 12 monthly installments.

Team membership is an ANNUAL commitment to be paid in twelve monthly installments, due the 1st of each month. If a diver is unable to attend workouts, the installment is still due in order to retain full team status. 

Contracts shall be in effect until January of the following year. All those applying for a membership agree to be bound by the rules and regulations, fee schedules, and late charges currently in effect or as amended in the future, for the term of this contract. 

2. All monthly dues, Equipment purchases, Meet Fees and Travel Trips are paid through our Captyn & Wave Software.

3. With our Software, you can change out your Credit card on file, update phone numbers and addresses and look at invoices from current and past months. Each family must have a credit/debit card associated with their account. It is the account holder’s responsibility to ensure that credit cards are kept up to date and that payments are successful.

4. All Fees are due 1st of each month.

A late Fee of $25 will be added to your Account, if the Account is not fully paid by the 5th (at midnight) of the billing cycle. The diver will not be permitted on deck past the 10th of the month if dues or fees are delinquent. It takes all of us working together to help our children and coaches realize their potential.

5. Monthly training fees are not prorated, and no credit will be issued if a member misses a practice session or if the coaching staff schedules a break in the training schedule. For those athletes or families who wish to take a vacation or who do not participate for a period of time, please submit your fee as usual and notify your dive coach that you will not be present.

Divers will not be taken off the roster for a family vacation or absence for several weeks unless it is proven to be medically necessary.

6. Again, your monthly fee is based on an annual figure. Your position on the team and in the same group/time will be reserved for you until you return as long as you are current with your fees. In the event that fees are not received, your position will be made available to another team member. This policy will be enforced except in the event of a prolonged injury or illness, which will be handled on an individual basis.

8. Cancellations or suspensions: A 30 advance notice of cancellation or suspension must be submitted in writing to the Dive coach by the end of the month to be effective the following month.

FAA, AAU & USA-D Registrations

In January of each year, we have a re-registration process for all families associated with our program. The registration is necessary for all athletes to become USA Diving and Florida Diving registered athletes.

An Annual FAA Registration Fee of $195 will be invoiced to all Accounts during the month of January, each year. When a new member joins, an FAA Registration Fee of $225 will be invoiced, which will cover a one-time FAA Gear Fee.

This fee will be paid upon joining or re-joining the team any time during the calendar year. The divers who join the team mid-year will pay their team membership fee in full (no pro-rating) and will pay subsequent annual membership fees in January to cover the next year.

This fee will cover all administrative costs for the year including (Facility Rental, Annual FL Diving Association, Coaches and Club’s USA Diving registrations, First Aid and CPR certifications, Buy or Upgrade equipment, etc.). 

ALL athletes need to be USA Diving and/or AAU Diving registered.

Competitive divers will be given a unique FAA link to register for USA Diving membership (see Button on Top of this Page).

 - Unless you are told otherwise, please select the Limited Athlete Membership, when registering.

All divers must be current, registered members of United States Diving. Florida Atlantic Aquatics Diving Club athletes are required to obtain a Limited Athlete Membership, for $40, which is good for one year (January to December) and can be upgraded to competitive blue or competitive gold at any time during the year.

DIVE MEETS COSTS & PAYMENTS:

Dive meets cost vary meet to meet. In general there is an entry fee per event; these fees are set by the host team or Florida Gold Coast Swimming.

• Facility/Meet Surcharge

In addition,

A Coaching Fee of $20/day will be assessed for all athletes entered in that meet and charged to your account prior to the meet.

3. In an "Away Meet" (In State Driving Distance of more than 1hr), an FAA & TRAVEL Surcharge might be assessed for all athletes entered and broken evenly amongst all athletes (a portion will be paid prior to travel).

• $40 or $80 = FAA Surcharge (Coaching Fee - 2 or 4 days)

Competitions

Coaches travel expenses:

• Coaches travel expenses to away meet such as Regional Championships, Local and Spring/Summer Nationals and all other invitational will be divided amongst those divers attending the meet. 

Competition: 

• Parents and/or divers are responsible for their own entry forms and fees. 
• When coaches are attending a Sunday competition there will not be training on the following Monday. 
• When coaches are traveling to competition, those divers not participating will train when a suitable replacement coach is available.
• Otherwise, no practice will be scheduled. 
• Divers are responsible for their own expenses to local and away meets. 
• For Championship meets such as Regional, Zones or Nationals, total team support is critical to everyone’s success.
• All team members are required to stay at the pool to support their teammates unless excused by the Head Coach.
• This is extremely important to team morale.



FAU Parking Permit

If you are in need of a Parking Permit for the academic year (Aug - July), please follow the steps below:

(1) Stop by the Parking Office, show them proof of FAA membership and purchase permit

(2) Email faupark@fau.edu and they will send you a credit card authorization form for payment

All Parking Permits expire on July 31st of each year, and are only valid in Blue parking lots & Parking Garages:

-    Buy in the Fall - $52
